Q: FAVORITE PHOTO OF THE BAND.
A: Basically I love any photos with all three of them, looking happy, content, and healthy. Like this one.

Q: The Script or Science & Faith?
A: Both. When I heard of The Script, both albums were already out. I put them in my iPod and listening to them from top to end every day. There is not a single song that I don’t love.

Q: When did you first hear of The Script?
A: It was around April 12th. A friend of mine in Hongkong gave me the link to one of their songs saying that it reminded her of the relationship between Mark and Eduardo in the movie The Social Network. I agreed after listening to it.
I took such an instant liking to that song (whose title will be revealed tomorrow!) that I started seeking out their other songs at once, and LOVED EVERY ONE OF THEM. Their music was the exact right blend for my specific taste. Defined and clear style, not a moment of “What the hell am I listening to?” confusion, meaningful lyrics, and rousing beats, among many other things. I knew I had found a rare gem.

Q: WHY DO YOU LOVE THE SCRIPT?
A: I love the sound of and the messages in the music. I love that they are very much an ensemble group, not placing any greater emphasis on one member. (I like Maroon 5, but whenever I watch their music videos, the unmistakable front-and-center-ness of Adam Levine turns me off a bit.)
Their down-to-earth quality is also very attractive to me. The tone of their music videos is a case in demonstation. Along with the “No Auto-tune” band policy, they come across as fantastically real people with whom you could, and would want to hang out.

Tumblr newbie. Irish band The Script is my current fancy. I love the sound, I love the voice, I love the message, I love the character (individually as well as a whole).
So far I have been to one of their concert at the Club Nokia in Downtown Los Angeles on 5/27/2011. It was an evening of all highs and no lows. Glory and sensibility.
Next up I am going to their next live at the Palladium in Hollywood on 9/24/2011.
This time I’m going to memorize ALL the lyrics.
